Elijah’s Inn is a personal retreat and debriefing ministry that started in the south of Spain but now is located in the south of Germany. As part of our involvement with YWAM, we welcome individuals and couples to our home to stay with us for a week or so, especially if you are involved in YWAM leadership or work with another Christian organization or church.
If you would like to take a personal retreat or are looking for a debriefing, we may be able to help.
Our home is on the northern edge of the Black Forest, just south of Stuttgart. We offer a place to get away and retreat in order to rest, recover, reflect, evaluate, spend time with God, and find new direction and orientation in peaceful surroundings. We are not a counselling ministry, but if you’d like to, we are willing to help with:
- Debriefing
- Spiritual retreat
- Personal retreat or time-out with self-catering*
- Study retreat
We are able to do this in both English and German. Please notice that te house is located on a slope; both access to the house and access to the bedroom inside require being able to climb a stairway.
For a debriefing, we recommend at least four full days here, so we can take you through a structured process interchanging one to one sharing and individual reflection. It is usually Franziska who does the debriefings. Because of this, we can only do two debriefings at a time. (In case you wonder what “debriefing” means, click here for a general introduction.)
You are also welcome to simply come for a personal retreat, spending time with God in prayer, rest, and reflection.
Be part of our “family” of two (and whoever else happens to be visiting). Enjoy shared meals with time together discussing whatever is on your mind, as well as time by yourself to recharge and be renewed in God’s presence.
Our calendar shows weeks that are available for personal retreats. Prices on request
Any questions or requests? You can contact us through this contact page.
(*) This option is intended for a personal timeout and does not include a regular debriefing.
